Based in Perth, Australia – engineering consultancy firm, Wileo, asked Barnham Marketing to devise and execute launch marketing strategy for a job market place platform.

The platform intends to provide two primary functions: engineering expertise shared with anyone globally and the ability for companies to source engineering and project management services directly, avoiding unnecessary overheads.

The Challenge

Wileo recognised the need to launch a new web platform that would rival competitors such as Upwork and Expert 360, but instead specialising within the engineering industry. Having identified this, it was important to develop an integrated marketing, brand and launch strategy for their new web platform.

What We Did

Initially, we carried out a marketing audit and brand toolkit to define Wileo’s vision and gain a complete understanding of the business’ values. We completed a competitive and alternative SWOT analysis to determine the international market and landscape. This preparation enabled us to focus on the full marketing remit, from brand evolution to customer journey to social media strategy.

What We Achieved

The result, a considered go-to market plan and campaign strategy focusing on SEO, content development, public relations, partnerships, social media and Google Adwords.
